Barray – Country Framed Art Print – Meticulous and mesmerising, this contemporary Indigenous Aboriginal art piece is reminiscent of the beach shores and sand banks underneath the shallow waters of a bay. The delicate colour pairing of dreamy creams and soft blues combined with the intricate patterns created in curvy crooks and contours creates a sense of movement, like soft undercurrent swirls on the sandy floor. A must have piece for your special room.
Enthralling and intricate, this artwork uses traditional Aboriginal dot painting to represent a birds- eye-view of one of Australiaâs precious landscapes. Using classic complementary colours, this piece brings together blue and orange shades, a symbol of connection and harmony much like the way we all connect with our own homeland â a place we go to heal, when we close our eyes and smell the air. With its organic details and handmade feel, this piece reminds us of the overwhelming peace we feel in our mind and heart as we know we are finally home.
Artist Name â Joedie Lawler
Artist Story: I have painted since I was only young sitting beside my grandmother watching and learning. I have held various exhibitions with success. I love to express my views and thoughts through my art and find it takes me away to a space of peace. Where my only thoughts are the colours and the placement of my next dot. I have delivered various Commercial commissions with glass, fabric, landscape design, weaving and murals. It is a great feeling to walk past a building and see your work in its construction.
